All types of CNC router machine include basic cnc router 1325 and auto tool changer ATC cnc router, before start machining, the first step is to make machine go home. Sometimes, for some reason, we may encounter the cnc engraving machine cannot go home correctly. Please don't worry; the problem can be solved if you just follow the troubleshooting steps below. This fault is generally manifested in the following three ways

1. Crash near the home point

2. Go to the opposite direction in home process

3. Not move or move wrong distance

Check & Solution

Reason 1. Limit sensor or cable of it fault

Solution: Please take a small steel chip or steel screw close to the limit switch, see what happen on the limit sensor indicator lamp and control card indicator light. If both lights are displayed correctly, then the limit switches and cables are good. If the limit switch light display in wrong way means the limit switch is broken, then the limit switch is needed to be replaced. If the limit switch indicator light is right while the control card wrong, then the limit switch cable is broken, then please replace the limit switch cable.

Reason 2. Moving direction setting error

Solution: Please exchange the motor cables or set the direction parameter in controller properly.

Reason 3. Control handle or wiring card data cable loose or malfunction

Solution: Please remove the data cable connection and connect it again and make sure it is well connected both sides. Or replace a new data cable.

Reason 4. Driver fault

Solution: Please replace a new driver. 

Reason 5. Motor fault

Solution: Please replace a new motor.
